Living Supernaturally Natural

Living Supernaturally Natural By Jeremiah Model

Lately for the past two years, I have been on a track of pondering into the supernatural realms of heaven. What I mean by supernatural is by seeking G-d’s direction in signs and wonders. All I can say from my experience is that it has been an amazing ride so far.

I like the concept that Bill Johnson uses, the natural Christian life should be one of supernatural signs and wonders. Let’s take a look at the great commission.

Matthew Chapter 28 Verses 16-20 reads, Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

It is imperative to understand that all authority has been given onto him who dwells in the believer, one might ask authority over what? Authority over opposition, the works of the evil one. Which includes everything that the kingdom of darkness is empowered with, examples: disease, greed, violence, lust, perversions, idolatry etc. Authority over the earth and the airways.

Psalm 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

I believe psalm 91 is a bold statement to how the believers life should look like, how about instead of excepting and conforming we take bold stands and say if it does not exist in heaven, it should not exist on Earth. After all we are ambassadors for a reason.
